NFS prayed for the welfare of the world on World Friendship Day

The social organization National Friendship Society (NFS) has organized prayers for the welfare of the world on International Friendship Day.

This special prayer and munajat were organized at the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram on Thursday (July 30) on the occasion of World Friendship Day.

After Asr, Imam Mufti Mizanur Rahman, Senior Peshwa of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque conducted the prayers and munajat.

Prior to the prayer, the leaders of the organization said that the social organization National Friendship Society (NFS) has been working for a long time with the slogan of friendship for the welfare of humanity.

This time the theme of World Friendship Day is "Humanity is not divided by friendship".  If there is a mentality of coexistence with each other, friendship will be successful only if there is harmony with everyone and pain in the pain of others, not enmity.

They also said that although all the days in the world are celebrated on the same day, there is a difference during Friends Day.  Bangladesh Friends Day is celebrated in the month of mourning.

Which is not expedient at all.  Thats why we want to celebrate this day in Bangladesh on July 30  according to the latest declaration of the United Nations, not in August.

The meeting was chaired by National Friendship Society (NFS) President Rahat Hussain and was also attended by members of the Advisory Council Mufti Masum Billah Nafei, Abu Hena Mostafa Sadeq and Masudur Rahman, Senior Muazzin Qari of the National Baitul Mukarram Mosque.

Vice-President Sheikh Mohammad Nasir, Co-Organizing Secretary Sadek Visit, Treasurer Bappa Raj Das, Relief and Social Welfare Secretary Imdadul Hasan Ratul, Member Masum, Zahid and many others.
