After making a mark in Bollywood, Alia Bhatt is all set to enter Tollywood now. She will feature in the Telugu period action film, ‘RRR’, written and directed by SS Rajamouli. Apart from Alia, the film stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr and Ram Charan in pivotal roles.
The film is said to be a fictional account revolving around India's freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who fought against the British Raj and the Nizam of Hyderabad, respectively. The narrative will unravel their lives during their self-imposed exile.
While not much is known about the movie, Alia recently revealed an interesting information about it. Taking to social media, she wrote that the movie is all about friendship.
At 26, Alia is super successful with an enviable slate of films, and has set the benchmark very high for herself. In a recent interview with Bombay Times, when she was asked if that stresses her out, she said, “There is fear that I might change as a person, so I am constantly keeping a check on that. I don’t want to ever become overconfident or affected by success. That is something that my father and Karan (Johar) keep telling me. ‘Just stay grounded’. Every time my film does well, or I do well according to the people in my life, they praise me for two minutes, but for five minutes, they remind me that I have to stay grounded. So, my fear is that all this might change me as a person, but I don’t think that I will ever get there because I won’t allow it.” (ETIMES)
