Tribute to Bangabandhu from the Cultural Capital

Pre-eminent Indian singer Nachiketa Chakraborty paid tribute to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with a new song recently. Nachiketa himself sang and composed the song. The song is written by Nila Mahmud.  

The life of Bangabandhu, and his undeniable contribution to the independence of Bangladesh, is the main theme of the song.

On March 17, a special event was arranged by Bangladesh Deputy High Commission at Rabindra Sadan, Kolkata to commemorate the occasion of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's birth anniversary. The song was launched at the event.

Piklu Chowdhury produced the video version of the song, under the direction of Team Creative Company.

The music video was released on YouTube on April 2. The music video highlights extraordinary Moments from Bangabandhu's life.

Previously on Saturday, Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi paid tribute to Bangladesh's 'Father of the Nation' at Bangabandhu Mausoleum Complex, Tungipara. He was accompanied by The Prime Minister and the elder daughter of Bangabandhu, Sheikh Hasina. According to media reports.
