Mimi not comfortable with intimate scenes, leaves Pratim’s film

Ever since Pratim D Gupta’s next film was announced, speculation was rife that Mimi Chakraborty has been offered to play the female lead opposite Jisshu Sengupta in the film titled ‘Love Aaj Kaal Porsu’.
But now, we hear the actress turned newly-elected MP has turned down the offer as she is not comfortable with doing intimate scenes.

Incidentally, Pratim’s film does have a few intimate scenes and Mimi is not okay with it. She is not only an actress now, but an MP as well. When we asked the pretty actress she explained: “It’s not like that I am not doing it because of criticism, neither being an MP is the only reason. I am never comfortable in intimate scenes. So, why should do it now after all these years.”

While Pratim has started looking for another lead actress, Mimi is right now busy with her new music album which will come out next Sunday. She has also opened her own official YouTube channel. Plus, she has a few film offers. According to industry sources, Dhrubo Banerjee wants to cast Mimi opposite Abir Chatterjee in his next thriller.

Also, Arindam Sil will start shooting for ‘Khela Jakhon’ with Mimi in the lead from January. She is also excited about the upcoming thriller. “I am really hopeful about the film. Earlier when the film was supposed to hit the floors, I worked so hard”. Source: ETimes
