Indian home minister Amit Shah Said In Assam, We Will Not Let A Single Intruder Stay In The Country, We Promise.
Home Minister was addressing the 68th plenary session of the Northeast Council in Guwahati on Sunday (September 8).
On the problem of infiltrators in Assam NRC, North East, the Home Minister said that not a single intruder will be allowed to stay in the country. He said that the process of NRC in Assam has been completed within the stipulated time.
Indian Home Minister said that not a single intruder will be allowed to stay in India. On the problem of illegal immigrants, not a single illegal immigrant will be allowed to stay on Indian soil.
Home Minister Amit Shah is also the chairman of the Northeast Council. Chief Ministers of eight northeastern states participated in this program.
He said, “Many people have raised many questions on the National Register of Citizens (NRC), I want to clearly state that the Indian government will not let any illegal immigrant stay in the country. This is our promise.” Reacting to the NRC issued on August 31, Amit Shah said that it has been completed as per schedule.
