316 Bangladeshis brought back from Wuhan, 7 taken to Kurmitola Hospital

A total of 316 Bangladeshi citizens were brought back from China’s Wuhan, the epicenter of the new coronavirus outbreak, on Saturday morning and seven of them were sent to Kurmitola General Hospital.

Shahriar Sazzad, a health officer at the Dhaka airport, confirmed the hospital admissions on Saturday.

A special of Bangladesh Biman, carrying with 316Bangladeshis students who were trapped in Wuhan, the epicenter of coronavirus outbreak in China, left for Dhaka on Saturday morning.

The flight left for Dhaka from Wuhan today around 9.10 am.

The vast majority of patients are in China where the virus originated in an illegal wildlife market in Wuhan city and has also claimed 259 lives.
