Hang Bangabandhu's portrait at all courtrooms: HC

The High Court directed the authorities concerned to hang and preserve the portrait Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at all courtrooms across the country within two months.

Justice FRM Nazmul Ahsan and Justice KM Kamrul Quader passed this order after hearing on the writ  on Thursday (August 29).

In its order, the HC asked the respondents to comply with the order within two months and submit a report in this regard by the set time.

Earlier on August 21, the Supreme Court lawyer Subir Nandi filed the writ.

In the writ secretaries of Ministry of Law, Ministry of Housing and Public Works, Ministry of Finance and the SC registrar general have been made respondents.
