Sumon's case against Priya Saha dismissed

Court has dismissed the case of Barrister Syed Sayedul Haque Sumon for allegedly indulging in treason against Priya Saha, organizing secretary of Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Unity Council.

On Sunday (July 21) Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ziaur Rahman filed a case of sedition against Supreme Court lawyer and International Crimes Tribunal Prosecutor Barrister Syed Sayedul Haque Sumon.

Barrister Suman appealed to the court to take the case under the Penal Code 123 (A), 124 (A) and 500. The court accepted the plaintiff's statement and later ordered the case dismissed.
