Vitamin A intake can lower skin cancer risk

Vitamin A is known to be essential for the healthy growth and maturation of skin, and Vitamin A is a fat-soluble nutrient that plays a vital role in your body.

Vitamin A, including its benefits, food sources, as well as effects of deficiency, toxicity and intake can lower skin cancer risk.

Vitamin-A retinoids may inhibit the growth of certain cancer cells, such as bladder, breast and ovarian cancer.

Researchers have found that people who intake high levels of Vitamin A were 19% less at risk of getting a skin cancer, as compared to those who ate modest amounts of foods as supplements rich in Vitamin A.
