Ramadan office timing rescheduled

The government has set the office timing for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan
 
The new timing is from 9 am to 3:30 pm for all government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions. Employees will be given a 15-minute break from 1:15 pm to 1:30 pm for Zohr prayers.
 
The decision was taken on Monday at the weekly cabinet meeting held with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair at the Prime Minister's Office.
 
Dr. Md Shamsul Arefin, Senior Secretary (Coordination and Reforms) of the Cabinet Division briefed at the Secretariat about the cabinet meeting.
 
Banks, companies and financial institutions are advised to fix their  office timing ahead of Ramadan.
