As many as 23 Bangladeshi reached Indian capital Delhi from the coronavirus affected Wuhan province of China on Thursday morning, Indian High Commission in Bangladesh said in a post on its Facebook page.
Special flights of the Indian Air Force and Air India arrived in Delhi on Thursday morning after evacuating Indians and foreigners from coronavirus-hit Wuhan and quarantined cruise ship, Diamond Princess, in Japan.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) relief aircraft evacuated 76 Indians and 23 Bangladeshi from the Chinese city of Wuhan, the epicenter of coronavirus outbreak.
The C17 transport aircraft that left for China earlier with 15 tonnes of medical supplies from India to the virus-hit Wuhan landed in Delhi early Thursday morning.
A special Indian flight carrying the Bangladeshis and other Indian nationals touched down the airport early in the morning.
The returnees will be quarantined in special facilities in the suburbs of Delhi, the source said.
