DU students on strike demanding exclusion of 7 colleges

A group of students of Dhaka University have gone on a strike halting classes and exams demanding exclusion of 7 government colleges which were affiliated by the university. 

The students hanged locks on the academic and administrational buildings on Sunday morning.

The agitating students of DU announced the strike to continue until a cancellation order be put.

University sources said, that the students locked in various academic and administrative buildings of the university from Sunday morning. Earlier in the morning, the building was locked students, and the employees were confused. Since then, these buildings are still locked.

When the Pro-VC Professor Muhammad Samad tried to enter his office around 9 am was also faced the agitation and interrupted by the students. He called to withdraw the strike on the students until an unanimous process be made.
