Fakhrul calls for 'greater movement'

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, "For establishing democracy, Begum Khaleda Zia must be released. Everyone needs to be unity. This oppressive government will have to be defeated by creating greater agitation in front.''

He said these things in a human chain demanding the release of Begum Khaleda Zia, organized by the BNP in front of the Jatiya Press Club on Wednesday (September 11).

Fakhrul said, ''Begum Khaleda Zia must need to treatment. She seats in a Wheelchair. Basically she is standing in jail day by day. Her need for treatment and we are a demand to release.''

He said, “present government is sitting in power by voting robbery. They have unjustly detained the patriot. Because one, if she is out, will create resistance against present government. This illegal government has destroyed all the institutions of the state. Today the judiciary, the administration, the law, and the government are controlling the media. ''

Calling on the people, the BNP secretary-general said, "Let us stand today against the present government to regain our rights, to regain the right to vote, to return to the right to speak. We will replace the non-voting government and establish a people's government.”
