BNP standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed said that mask of corruption has opened by the removal of Shoban-Rabbani who has carried out atrocities, torture, extortion and tendering of people over the last tenth years.
He said this while addressing a keynote address at a human chain demanding the release of BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, organized by the Association of Engineers Bangladesh (AB) in front of the National Press Club on Wednesday (September 18).
Moudud said, "Through this (the removal of the BCL president-secretary), it was once again clear in front of the countrymen that the Chhatra League-Jubo League has made the country into a state of anarchy by extortion, torturing people and reseizing land and taking away their work to force money."
The former law minister said, “The Rohingya crisis is the cause of this government and this government is solely responsible for the Rohingya crisis. Due to their diplomatic failure, 11 lakh Rohingya are on the ground in Bangladesh. Until now, they could not send a Rohingya back home.
