Member of the standing committee of the BAP, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy said, ‘'The country where Prime Minister cherishes corruption gives patronage. In fact, that country cannot be protected from corruption.’’
He said this during a protest meeting organized by the central parliament of Zia Children's and Teenage Fairs demanding the release of BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia at the Jatiya Press Club on Saturday (October 5).
He said, "The government has decided to hold the title of Begum Khaleda Zia without compromise. Begum Khaleda Zia will not release any compromise with government or parole. From respect for democracy, we have a movement to release Khaleda Zia because of her sense of responsibility, and we will do so in the future. Begum Khaleda Zia will be released through the movement.
The BNP's policymaker said, "According to the bank's money, there are about 76 thousand in the country. When the list of billionaires is published, it will be seen that everyone does the Awami League. No one has been a billionaire except the Awami League. The common people have become helpless.''
