Family members to meet Khaleda at BSMMU this afternoon

Relatives of BNP chairperson and former prime minister Khaleda Zia will go to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) to meet her this afternoon.

BNP chairperson's media wing member Shamsuddin Didar on Saturday said six family members will meet the former prime minister at BSMMU at around 3:00 pm.

The six relatives include Khaleda Zia’s sister Selima Rahman, her husband Rafiqul Islam, their daughter Shahina Jaman Khan, younger brother Shamim Iskander, his wife Kaniz Iskander and their son Avik Iskander.

Earlier on November 13, family members met her at the hospital.

Khaleda is in jail since February 8, 2018, when she was convicted by Dhaka special court in a graft case that BNP terms false and fabricated. She was admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University on April 1 and undergoing treatment there since then.
