How to know if password hacked

Most of people  have been victims of email accounts being hacked, or your Facebook passwords not working. Well, this may be a result of your password might have been hacked.

One way to keep yourself secure is by knowing how hackers hack the passwords and the methods and software they generally use.

By knowing how hackers get into your account, you will be in a better situation to understand the ways in which you can lose your account information and passwords and thus can protect yourself from getting hacked next time.

However, using Google's password checkup tool, you can find whether your password has been hacked. ‘Gazette Now’ describes how to stay careful about passwords -
* First open the Google Chrome browser on your PC. Now open the Google Chrome Store and search for the Password Checkup Tool. Click the 'Add to Chrome' button to install it.

* The checkup tool monitors passwords only when users are logged in to an account. A red alert box pops up asking you to change your account password when a fault is caught. If you ignore this, the password checkup icon will be red instead of green.

* Then change your account password as soon as possible.
