Country's leading paceman Mustafizur Rahman has reached India to take part in the Indian Premier League (IPL). According to his Facebook post.
The left-armed Cutter Master returned from New Zealand with the rest of the team after losing their disastrous tour.
He boarded a Kolkata-bound flight and departed for India. He is one of the two Bangladeshi Players to take part in this season of IPL.
"Landed in India safely and mission IPL starts with Rajasthan Royals. Keep me in your prayers," he wrote on his official Facebook account.
The paceman is on the dot to catch Royals' opening fixture on April 12. He may not be able to feature in that game because of mandatory seven days quarantine.
Previously, the star pacer was booked with Rajasthan Royals franchise, at his base price of INR 1 crore, in the IPL 2021 auction.
Mustafizur Rahman will be grouped with pacer Ben Stokes in this season with Jofra Archer being pulled out for injury.
