Afghanistan win toss, opt to bat against Bangladesh

Afghanistan won the toss and choose to bat against Bangladesh in one-off Test at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.

Afghan skipper Rashid Khan decided to bat in the toss on Tuesday (September 5).

It will be Bangladesh’s 115th Test and Afghanistan’s third.

With the match, Shakib Al Hasan returned to action after his fantastic show in the World Cup. He has led the Tigers in 13 Tests and won three of them.

On the other hand, Rashid Khan of Afghanistan inducted in Test cricket as a captain with the match.

Bangladesh appeared in eighteen Tests at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium and won only two of them while six ended in a draw.
