Today is the 36th birthday of Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, current captain of the One Day International for Bangladesh national cricket team and member of the parliament.
Mashrafe was born in the Narail district on October 5, 1983.
Bangladesh’s ODI success in the year of 2015, is mostly attributed to the brilliant leadership skills of the senior player of the Bangladesh side.
He broke into the national side in late 2001 against Zimbabwe and represented Bangladesh before having played a single first-class match.
The right-arm pacer has played 36 Tests for Bangladesh, taking 78 scalps and as many as 251 wickets in 196 One-Day Internationals and 42 wickets in T20Is for Bangladesh.
